Abstract
This article examines the current state of the design field in the countries of Central Asia, including Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan. While there is growing interest in creative industries and professions related to design, significant challenges remain that hinder the formation and development of the educational framework in this area. Key issues in specialist training are analyzed, as well as their impact on the professional community and the prospects for young people. The necessity of reforming educational programs and creating conditions for the integration of regional design into the international space is emphasized.
