Most of the epics of the series have been recorded by our folklorists, most of them have been prepared for printing and published in thousands of copies, and some epics have been reprinted several times. The study of the genesis and stages of development of the epics of the “Gorogly” series is of great importance not only from a philological point of view, but also from a social, moral, philosophical, aesthetic, ethnographic and political point of view. This article scientifically analyzes the version of the epic “Avazkhan.
